Plein Air Painting
En plein air is a French term for the process of painting outdoors and "from life." The shifting light, moving subjects, and occasional bugs add a level of difficulty and dynamic energy to the paintings.
Plein air paintings are an excellent way to bring a piece of city or country home with you. It's impossible to capture all of the sounds, smells, and tastes of a city, but a plein air painting is a great way to help remember them!
